Ramblings of an old soul

 Something for nothing mentality

Give me some of what you have. If you are willing to give some money to me without me working for it, please leave a comment with your e-mail address so that I can get in touch with you to determine just how much of your money you are willing to give to me. I don't want to have to do anything for the money I just want it. Don't lecture me on getting up off my D.L.A. and go work for it. Also, don't tell me to get an education so that I won't be a burden on society. I am a victim of the system and have worked all my life, paid hundreds of thousands in income taxes and social security and I have the right to some of your money. After all you have more than you need. You also have more than I do so give me some of yours!!!!! Now don't you think that it is rational to believe that some one has the right to your money. Right now I could use about $55,000.00 so that I can get out of all debt and be able to be in position of not having to ask for more for at least a year. Maybe I could get congress to pass legislation so that I could get some of your money by the government confiscating it from you and giving it to me.

After all the liberal thing to do, is to redistribute the wealth, isn't it?

 Liberals and liberal thinking.

Liberal thinking is akin to people who for some reason are not open to the thoughts of others. For example, if you read the newspaper as I do, you will find that most of the syndicated columnists have the same talking points. It is obvious to me that they do not discuss any political matters with anyone other than their liberal friends. GOD FORBID that they may become exposed to the truth, which they probably would not recognize anyway, so that their thinking could be modified. As I have said to anyone who would listen the truth is simple it just is. Here is a thought for you all to ponder. 58% of all the votes cast for William J. Clinton, in his bid for reelection were from women. What is it about "immoral men" that women like so much that they would want one to be President? It is my opinion that; "The morality of a nation follows the morality of its women". When the women are moral the men have no choice except to follow. When the women become immoral the men revert to their animal nature. So there LIBS have fun with this one.

Such a happy guy am I.

I have been listening for a couple of days to all the dialog about the hunting accident in west Texas.

Nothing could make me happier about the situation than to have the VP dis the Whitehouse Press core. They are such arrogant and egotistical rectal openings that they think the world is about them and how they report things rather that the importance of the other things going on in the world. They were so mad that the V.P. allowed a little newspaper in Texas to scoop them, that they almost took McClellan's head off at the news conference the following day.
While McClellan took hundreds of speculatory redundant questions about why the Bush administration had kept this from the major news organizations, news about the Sadam Hussien tapes went uncovered. The fact that information that the Weapons of mass destruction had been purposely hidden from the inspectors and moved to Syria so they could be used by terrorists against the U.S. later didn't seem to have any importance to the White House press core. They were only interested in why they had been left out of the loop.

Go get'em Dick Cheney. You sure showed the world what the press core thinks is important.

 Poem for Valentines day

Love she was, in my imagination
Fulfillment of my dreams
All that I could ever wish for
In my wildest schemes

Her gentle but poignant smile
A rapture in its own
Captioned every word and phrase
And polished every tome

Cirrus wisp in morning breeze
Depict her every motion
Like angles dancing loves ballet
Peaking my emotion

When she fin'ly came to me
I joyed in her caress
Oh! now that her love is mine
My dreams were something less.

Happy Valentines day all.

UN Equal treatment under the press

Her we go again. More controversial stuff. It seams to me that we have a press in our wonderful country that goes to bat for every bad guy; making sure the court system treats them with the full weight of the 14th amendment. Many of the Democrats in congress have voiced their concern for the rights of the Islamic militants that want to kill us. And, the press carries their banner. Today, the big deal of the press was being critical of Dick Cheney because his office didn't notify the press right away about the hunting accident that happened in Texas. I don't seem to remember the press making this big a deal out of the drowning of Mary Jo Kopechne when in the Oldsmobile driven by Ted Kennedy. Today one female reporter called for the resignation of Mr Cheney. I just have to wonder if she is even old enough to remember Mary Jo. It also amazes me that Mr. Kennedy has the gall to act as an arbiter of social justice as a member of the Judicial Committee. If you or I had been responsible for the death of another person when driving a car drunk. We would have gone to jail for involuntary manslaughter.

How about them apples. Have fun.
