A cloud that rolls and gathers in the sky
Its exactness has no kin
A crashing wave that breaks upon the sand
Though millions fall none are twin
The falling snow flakes upon the hill and dale
We catch within our hand, alike, no two

Sometimes I write something that I think is just terrific and no one responds to it. Like a previous post "Toss your fears aside" I thought this was one of my very best pieces and it received no comments. I have looked every day since I wrote it and still nothing. Lots of visitors in and out. Maybe they are looking for something and not finding it.

Well maybe I am just not a good judge of my own works. What ever you do don't feel sorry for me. Just do your own thing. Have a great day.

While we take the path that we may lead
We can wish for all the greatest things
But will our wishes come to pass indeed
Or must we accept what our existence brings

Or can we make our wishes all come true
By only wishing for the possible of those
By focusing not on the wishes that we do
But on ourselves not as thorns but as a rose

To carry on as the blossom full and new
To show the world; that we have the stuff
That draws the others to us for what we do
To be the diamond, but not as in the rough

To polish skills of causing those we meet
To look into our attitude and plainly see
The depth of soul that shows to be complete
And comfort in the knowing what one must be

To hold ones head up high and have no fear
Of being needy so advantage no one will take
One who's life is full and happiness is clear
In being one who's heart will never break

Not going back to another time nor place
But always forward with confidence to burn
Filling days with all your charm and grace
Making dreams come true through what you learn

Because of our intelligence service, which is about to be hampered by a bunch of class a idiots in congress, has been able to find out when and how the enemy was plotting to kill you, a friend or a member of your family. We must prevail or all of you women will end up in Burqas and have no rights what so ever. The female children will not even have the right to go to school and become educated. The male in your family can legally kill you if you disgrace the family. In the eyes of the Muslim it is not murder to kill a female member of the family if the head of the household calls for it. All we have to do is to become complacent and we will become the victim of senseless violence again and again.

Now is the time to stand up and be counted. Stand up for Freedom, stand up for liberty, stand up for women's rights and stand up for out wonderful military without which we already may well have been speaking Japanese or German.

I love my country enough that even at 71 if asked to fight for it I would sacrifice everything I have for the rest of you.
